General Terms and Conditions
REGISTRATION
Registration is binding and equal to the start of a training agreement between the purchasing organization and Odisea AB (Odisea).
Registration is binding, but a participant who cannot use his/her training seat can transfer the seat to another person from the same organization in consultation with Odisea.
PAYMENT TERMS
It is always the purchasing organization that has the financial commitment towards the Odisea Before the start of a training, an invoice will be sent for payment of the training fee. Payment of this invoice must be made within 30 days by bank transfer.
The participant is guaranteed the training seat to which the e-mail confirmation relates.
If the training fee is not regulated as above, Odisea has the right to terminate the training agreement with immediate effect.
Beside the training fee, variable costs for meals, facilities, etc. may occur. Odisea will inform the participant of such costs before the training. Such costs will be invoiced at actual costs after completion of the training.
RIGHT OF CANCELLATION
The following rules apply for open-enrolment training programs:
Earlier than 30 days before the start of training, no fee and full refund.
Later than 30 days before the start of the training entails payment obligations corresponding to 100% of the training fee.
Unsubscribing after commencing training entails payment obligations for the participant corresponding to 100% of the training fee.
Conditions for making up for missed training day(s)
In the event of a missed training opportunity, there is not any reduction of the training fee.
Exceptions can only be made for illness certified by a medical certificate. Application for resignation, transfer of place or to make up for missed training day must be made in writing to info@odisea.se.
For customized training programs, other rules may apply.
PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
When registering for Odisea's training activities, you provide personal information that we store in our database. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you as a customer have the right to receive information about the data we have about you and how it is used.
Odisea uses personal information in the manner necessary to fulfill our customer commitments, such as participant lists that are shared in the class. Personal data is not used for direct marketing if you have indicated that you do not consent to this. Contact Odisea if you want to update or change your personal information.
VACCINATION
The participation in face-to-face training requires the participant to have been inoculated (or equivalent) against covid-19.
COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL
During the training, you may have access to copyrighted material, such as articles and lecture notes. You do not have the right to distribute or make available such material to other people within or outside your organization.
CANCELLATION OF TRAINING BY ODISEA
Odisea has the right to cancel a training. In such a case, any training fees paid will be refunded. Compensation in addition to training fees is not paid.
FORCE MAJEURE
Neither party shall be liable to the other for any delay or non-performance of its obligations if such delay or non-performance is due to an event of Force Majeure. Events of Force Majeure are events beyond the control of the party which occur after the date of registering to the training and which were not reasonably foreseeable and whose effects are not capable of being overcome without unreasonable expense to the party concerned.
OTHER
We reserve the right to make typing errors and other inaccuracies in the information above.
